..BECAUSE IT’S FRIDAY!

I don’t really know why, but these days I’ve been wanting to go to class less and less. I have less motivation to do mywork and ugh, I just can never wait until Fridays.



I was looking at this editorial from PARIS VOGUE 2009 and at first glance, it looks pretty well, generic. The Chanel bag is so overrated these days and the big Chanel logo on her shirt could come as “tacky”, but if you think about it, her outfit is actually such a statement. Chanel as a clothing brand has such a classy rocker kind of look to it but still at the same time brings out a woman’s feminine features. And now I love everything about it, the chains the shoes, the shiny leather tights, even her pose, everything just comes together so well. It looks almost effortless.

I randomly came across this excerpt on a fashion blog where the blogger was talking about this particular scene in reference to “Slumdog Millionaire” (beside the point but) I found it kind of intriguing to watch, and now all I want to do is rush out to the nearest video store and rent “Chungking Express”. It’s got that deep, thick, heavy movie feel that I kind of got from “Lost in Translation” with Scarlett Johansen and Bill Murray (which by the way, is really a film worth watching). I love those kind of movies where after you watch it, it doesn’t make any sense at all and yet it can leave such profound imprints, and then in the end, all you wnt to do is just melt right into the storyline and let the characters take over.

The one thing I’ve realized about moving away for university is that home becomes that much more special. Going home for a visit is a huge deal for me now and I’m constantly calling to keep up to date with what’s happening. Because I’m bored and it’s GPOYW

I have this massive essay due tomorrow for English and I’m like 51% (give or take) away from finishing it, which is not good because it’s already 9pm and my roommate is probs going to sleep soon (which always makes me feel so guilty because I’m up and like the computer screen is illuminating the entire room, but what can I do, I’m a chronic procrastinator, although I am trying to change my ways). Anyway, just thought I’d take a little break (hahha, yeah right) from the essay do some tumblr-ing before I really gotta crack the whip (?!) on myself.

GPOYW-ness hahaha also because I’ve got cute hair today, only due to the fact that I had wayy too much time this morning…

You make me feel human again..

So lately I haven’t really been updating, just because I’ve got so many other things to do and other things to focus on (exams, essays, the list can go on) but it is now TIME!!! Time to finally get back into the swing of things and doing all the things that make me feel like myself again. (Shopping trip soon? I think so..hahha)

I think I’m pretty much over that.. thing.. that was giving me such a hard time a couple of weeks ago. It was a crazy weird time/phase where I literally could feel the world crashing down on me. It was one of those periods where NOTHING at all goes your way and granted, not everything in your life is going to go the way you want to but.. it was quite extreme and emotionally, I felt pretty shitty. Now though, I am almost back on my own two feet again and slowly but surely finding my way.
